It could be you, me or anyone for that matter!

This note is dedicated to a girl named sweety, who was raped and murdered two weeks back at my hometown. Her muderers are still at large with police and administration doing very little to find them. Sweety is not the first victim of such a crime, in our country where we boast of being a very rapidly developing nation still women is treated like this. With this note i just want to bring to your attention that something similar can happen next door if we are not consious and if still not start treating women with the respect and dignity they desrve.  if you guys feel this support can make this cause more meaning then go ahead and post this on your profile and join the page below: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Justice-For-Sweety/192607547452172

She was a lovely girl, with bright eyes and hair unfurled
She had dreams and she had joy,
She was bubbly as well as coy
She walked on her path without fear
She lived in her dreams without a sneer
But who would have thought what lies in the future?
Who would have thought someone had eyes on her stupor
For the danger lurked beneath the darkness
For someone’s malice had reached its starkness
She was taken, her soul destroyed
Her dreams were pushed in the deep dark void
For her slayer is out there, still at large
No one to help the family whose love parched
For they lost their princess, they lost their hope
They struggle very day to live and to cope
Is there no one accountable for this loss?
Or will we still sleep and live in this gloss
It’s time we wake up and fight for this cause
It’s time we free the society from the sin and its claws!
